The Chicago Firehouse is one of the most unique wedding venues in Chicago. First off, it's an actual retired firehouse with a working fire pole. And second, it has kept all the charm of historic Chicago plus indoor and outdoor areas that make for a great event flow. It was the perfect setting for Erin and Blaine's intimate and fun wedding.

Erin got ready upstairs with her closest friends and family. Her mom and grandmother helped her get the dress on and then she had a sweet reveal with her friends. Her entrance to the ceremony was unique in that he came down the big stairs on the side of the building and met her father at the bottom. Their ceremony was short and sweet and preformed by a very special family friend. Then it was time for entrances... Erin and Blain both slid down the fire pole! They totally rocked it and we got the photos to prove to their grandchildren how cool they were.

The dinner was pizza by the delish Wooden Paddle Catering and then Groove is in the Heart closed out the day with an awesome dance party. The couple decided to share a private last dance before the close of the night.

Here are a few of our favorites from the day. Enjoy!
