When Odessa and Talha hired us to document their Chicago Indian wedding none of us realized that they actually lived in our neighborhood and, on top of that, about five doors down. Only after they booked did we realize that we were neighbors - such a small world! Needless to say we were beyond honored and excited to document their two day wedding and be there for all the special moments.

As with typical for Indian weddings, there are multiple days of events and celebrations. The first day events we documented was at Ashton Place and the couple trusted us take photos of them in the parking lot, in small part because of time, but also because the light was beautiful. The second day was at another event space in Chicagoland and the couple trusted us to take portraits of them in the parking lot again because they had seen how well the previous day's had turned out. The festivities after that were so sweet, lots of family photos and special moments between loved ones.

Getting to know both Odessas and Talha's families was definitely a highlight for us. We loved chatting with them and learning that we had so much in common. We also loved seeing their two cultures merge and how each embraced the others. Truly a beautiful and memorable few days for all and we hope you enjoy some of our favorites.
