We loved documenting Jessie & Chris' wedding at Salvage One in Chicago's West Loop this winter. We feel like the best way to describe the wedding can be summarized by two things that happened right after the other first thing in the morning. First, the song Turn Down For What by Lil Jon played loudly as Jessie put on her custom Converse shoes and mom was dancing while zipping up her wedding dress. Second, dad came in right after and got emotional at the sight of his beautiful daughter. This was exactly how the entire day went, an awesome combination of so much fun and joy and also some very sweet emotional moments.

Salvage One in the West Loop of Chicago was the perfect venue for them because it's a fun, cozy, romantic, and unique space. The vintage furniture and antiques open up the door for our creativity. Every time we shoot there we find a new angle or think of a new way of photographing the event.

After exchanging some sweet vows and a few tears, we got to hear some awesome and hilarious stories about Jessie and Chris from their family and friends during speeches. Then they danced the night away together and said yes to a night shot with us which turned out to be one of our all-time favorites in front of the famed Chicago sign at Salvage One.

Thank you to Michelle from Lola Event Production for making this a stress-free day for everyone. And thank you most of all to Jessie & Chris for trusting us to document such a special day and we can't wait to see what adventures life takes you on.
