Christine and Spencer's held their epic wedding at Firehouse Chicago, which is one of our favorite places to photograph a wedding in the city. Not only is it super close to our home (a major plus), but it's also a truly unique spot for a wedding. It's an old Chicago firehouse filled with relics from its firehouse past. And it has a real working fire pole (check out the photos of it in use below)!

One of our favorite things about living in Chicago is getting to meet people like Christine and Spencer. These two are hilarious, kind, generous, and authentic. They met doing improv comedy here in Chicago, a journey that also led them to live abroad in Australia. They also love pizza which was made clear by their wedding meal catered by Wooden Paddle who made the most amazing pizza right on site. Their improv past made for one of the most fun days we've ever had as wedding photographers. All of their friends were hilarious and kept the one-liners and jokes coming throughout the day.

Studio Poppy made the place look amazing and then Robert from T&R Productions kept everyone dancing and the evening flowing.

We also have to mention some of their closest friends that lent their amazing talents to the wedding which made for an extra special day. Christine's friend Christie Guidry killed it with hair and makeup and Kelsey Kovacevich made their cake.

Enjoy a few of our favorite photos from their very special wedding.
